Porous Cemented Carbides

Porous Cemented Carbides has achieved about 30% of cavity. It has air permeability which has never been achieved by conventional cemented carbides. It is used for peculiar use such as suction tools or heat sink.

※ Transverse rupture strength and compressive strength of porous cemented carbides are 5～10% lower in comparison with conventional dense materials.
Shape
It is possible to manufacture simple disk and square plate shapes.
Also it is possible to manufacture taps by EDM.
